Combat Mission series (Black Sea!!)

So this is a reach out to any others from 3CB who have any of the combat mission games to throw a post in and maybe we could get some multiplayer battles going.  For those of you who haven't heard of it, there are some great videos on youtube.

I am especially interested in combat mission Battle for Normandy, as well as the unreleased Black Sea (set in Ukraine in 2017, RU vs UKR & US).

We could also use this thread for some after action reports (such as here http://community.battlefront.com/topic/110127-allied-cmbn-market-garden-beta-aar-the-better-beta-beater-reader/)

British Paras defeated a German Panzer Division for control of some village in Holland.  Major victory, basically Paras are armed to the teeth

Yeah I know they are expensive, have played most of them but only own normandy atm.
Black Sea however looks amaze

nice nice I have a HUGE modpack with awesome sounds for all the weapons and Hi tex and models

We are running Engine 3 now on battle for normandy.  Well worth the upgrade, improved visual etc etc but now allows for real time battles (still better as turn based though).

hmmm... dunno about that. If the Firefly spotted the Panter first it was probably a dead duck.

Fireflys NEVER fought alone either so there would have been Lots of little fireflies !!!

The allies reckoned on a 10:1 ratio for safety before engaging Panzers...

Something like 6 Fireflys + M10 Tank destroyers vs. say 1 Panther and some Panzer IV's

+ air support etc etc

1 on 1 I guess the panther - assuming it's track wasn't thrown, gearbox broken or fuel run out... would beat the firefly in a head on confrontation... But we always manouvered to ensure that never happened (in theory anyway )
