[/b]Here is a simple game yes? Its fairly simple to where we just go make our own countries and slap em down somewhere in the world (I will call a post out if I do not approve it). Make sure though they are reasonable, no Eurasian Superpowers here or gundams :l

RULES: Before editing the map, you must claim a turn, this means you will edit the map and post your additions before someone else creates theirs, that way we can keep this all simple and on one map.When you claim a turn you will be limited to creating two countries, that way we dont have one dude making like 30 countries which would limit others creations.

Nation Name: American Constitutional Republic
Commonly known as: American Republic
Type of Government: Constitutional Democracy

Official Language: American English
Brief history: After the United States split into various factions in 1978, The Nationalist Socialist Government was overthrown and despite the attempt to form a democratic government, many rebel groups seized land for themselves and although the former United States is now divided among various small territories, many people wish for a reunification of the various States into one nation. Currently the most poised faction to accomplish this task is the American Constitutional Republic, which has been rumored to possibly invade their neighbors in order to achieve the dream of a unified America once again.



Nation Name: West Indies Federation
Commonly known as: West Indies Federation
Type of Government: Socialist Dictatorship
Head(s) of State: Alejandro Padilla
Capital: San Juan
Population: 4,317,219
Official Language: English, Spanish
Brief history: The formation of the West Indies Federation came after the division of the United States in the late 70s, and up until the 90s was a very prosperous union. Recently though relations with the Bolivarian Republic have been strained due to their invasion and occupation of Trinidad, which forced the West Indies Government to relocate their capital to the newly acquired San Juan in Puerto Rico. Although currently condemning the invasion of Trinidad, the nation is unable to receive support from the League of Nations, and are currently preparing military forces for possible future invasions from the Bolivarian Republic.

Commonly known as: Bolivarian Republic

Brief history: After the Unification of Venezuela and Columbia, and the subsequent invasions of smaller nations such as Guyana and Trinidad, the Bolivarian Republic became a regional power, affecting Central American and Caribbean states, and is attempting to gain control of more resources to gain a stronger voice in political affairs not only within Latin America, but even North America and Western Africa. Unfortunately, this leads to tensions rising with local neighbors and the traditionally dominate western powers, and currently is fighting embargo proposals in the League of Nations.





Nation Name: United Republics of South-East Asia
Commonly known as: URSEA or Indochinese Kingdom
Type of Government: Constitutional Monarchy

Capital: Bangkok
Population: 618,465,238
Official Language: Thai
Brief history: After the revolutions in Cambodia and the recent end of the civil war in Vietnam, Burma saw an opening to which it could expand its power and influence. After a coup in 1977 in Thailand, both nations united as republics under one nation but under seperate administrative control. An invasion was then commenced against Cambodia which was still struggling against the war between the government and Khmer Rouge, and once Cambodia was secured, Laos and Vietnam were subjugated into URSEA. To this very day there is still an insurgency in the northern provinces of Vietnam to where former NVA troops and Vietcong fighters are putting up a struggle against the government forces in the region. The insurgency is covered up by the state run media, so the international community knows very little about the division within the Kingdom.

Brief history: A flourishing trade republic that currently is bracing itself for internal conflict as the two sons of Ige are slowly playing their cards to prevent their rival from being the next in line to be king. Hawaii has had friendly relations between its distant neighbors, and is the host of the League of Nations.

Commonly known as: Quebec
Type of Government: Marxist - Leninist Single Party State
Head(s) of State: André Parizeau
Capital: Montreal

Official Language: French
Brief history: After the violent revolution from Canada in the early 60s,Quebec has found itself isolated from allies from the unpopularity of the rebellion and takeover from not only Canada, but also its American neighbors towards the south. The country recently has suffered from economic downturns after suspicious accidents occurred rendering Oil Production Facilities incapacitated, some saying it could possibly be rebels from Nova Scotia that hold a grudge against the Québécois for occupying the island and separating them from more sympathetic and relatable English speaking allies.

Nation Name: The Workers Republic of Ireland (Poblacht na nOibrthe na hEireann)
Commonly known as: The Workers Republic of Ireland, or just Ireland
Typeof Government: "Dictatorship of the Proletariat"
Head(s) of State: Irish Socialist Republican Party (ISRP) under William Connolly
Capital:Cork City
Population: 6.9 million
Official Language:Gaeilge, though English remains the de facto spoken language of the
population

Brief History: Having gained partial Independence from the Commonwealth in the early part of the 20thCentury, Ireland was divided into a Southern Republic and a North still under Commonwealth rule. A small group of prominent members in the fight for Independence felt that the division of the country was a betrayal of everything the revolution had stood for. Having ceased hostilities against the Commonwealth, it was not long before a civil war erupted. It was close to another decade before full independence was achieved under the ISRP, and even then this was mostly due to the decrease in economic conditions in the North, leaving it in a state which the Commonwealth felt it was “not worth fighting for”. There are still worries of possible Commonwealth Loyalist actions, but anything thats  been seen as a possible threat has been handled swiftly and out of the public eye. A solid rule has since been established, with a relatively stable economy and content population. Though officially still at war with the Commonwealth, there are currently no open hostilities, and barring efforts to disrupt trade with its larger enemies, the Commonwealth does not seem too concerned with its smaller neighbour. Ireland is not currently at war with any other nations, and considers itself an ally with any and all free socialist nations, near or far.


My nation, naturally enough, has had some historical interaction with the Commonwealth, so Guy if you spot anything you'd like me to change up a bit feel free to let me know!
