SQUAD - From the devs of Project Reality.

Saw that this got posted onto PC Gamer and I thought that it looked great. I'll be keeping my eye on this for sure.

Watched this earlier today - looks awesome. I wonder if it will ever become as popular/more popular than PR did.

Depends on how much people will give this Game attention to. And then obviously how good it will actually be in the end when it comes out. :) But we could make 50 man 3CB Squad and just rekkkk, people on that.

I'm really excited to try this out, might be decent competition to ArmA :P

I would not compare this with CS. In fact I would say that Insurgency is relatively close to CS. I myself call Insurgency Counterstrike for people who are over 25. I think that Squad can fill the gap between Battlefield and ArmA.

There is no war to end all wars.

I'm interested, however I didn't like the way PR developed, I enjoyed pre 0.4 a great deal more than e.g. 0.7 and later.
I really liked PR when it had smaller maps (1x1,2 maybe 2x2) with gruesome skirmishes. The later versions introduced larger and larger maps, meaning the fight was much more spread out and would deteriorate into a hide-and-seek/whack-a-mole crossover.

Arma is just so much better for large engagements, PR never really 'clicked'  for me on these large maps.

If Squad is closer to the earlier versions of PR, I will probably  enjoy it. If it's closer to the later versions, it would have to outperform arma in some significant way.

You're officially old ;)
How many people today even know what a coax ring network is? I've seen one being used (my dad's workplace used to run on some DOS-like system + coax right up to all the millennium-bug  upgrades), but I've never actually used one.
