Ah Freeserve, my first ISP. I remember the LAN days trying to get X-Wing, TIE Fighter, and X-Wing Alliance set up. Wolfenstein was were it all started (well actually it was a Commodore 64 - back when your Christmas / Birthday presents was a DIY code book for a game, rather than the actual game itself), and then on to Doom. I remember playing that at college via their network, which actually translated into the world of IT support, as at my first job there were a handful of us that played Quake during our lunch break on the company network. It is just as well that the IT Department is always hidden away from real people, as the swearing at railgun campers was always loud and frequent!
