Project CARS

I would like to know too Poto, I used to love my racing games, I have a full seated Fanatec set up gathering dust in the corner of the lounge (much to the annoyance of Mrs bobert) and I was hoping this might be the game that makes it worth the faff of setting it all up! Assetto Corsa was a disappointment, so please elaborate

For me its not so much the graphics I'm after, but the physics, the force feedback and zero tolerance when it comes to multiplayer races.  I tried AC, but it has lacklustre force feedback and questionable physics.  I still have not found anything better than iRacing, but I would be very interested in any opinions of how PC compares to iRacing.

I've just got AC based on Klawc's recommendation, and so far am loving it.
From what I've read, it's physics is amongst the best in PC sim racing, probably better than Project Cars (?) and the force feedback with my G25 feels pretty realistic to me. (Lifetap, I'll pm you my ff set-up in case it helps, rather than go further off-topic here).

Disclaimer: I'm not a racing driver (although I have driven a single seater Formula Ford around Castle Combe!), don't have Project Cars and haven't got much experience with FF in modern games!

Interesting thread, the reason I didnt get on with AC is that I couldnt find a setting that felt right with my fanatec setup, I followed several posted setups but none felt right, and setting the thing up was a huge pain in the arse, so I kind of gave up!
Think I will try cars, as although I like my racing, im just not serious enough about it to sub to i-racing. If i dont like it, there will be a fanatec rig and chair going cheap on ebay!
