Is there any chance some mods can overcome these short comings MeFirst?

Controller issue resolved it self. Didn't do anything differently. Just seemed to kick in on a fresh game restart. *confused* 

Fun so far though - spent quite a few hours on it last night. Already formed a deep attachment to my dog buddy. 

So how deep has everyone gone so far?

Currently lvl 19 and focusing mostly on crafting and stealth upgrades.  Played the first 10 or so levels on Normal, though I've since upped it to Survival for the loot. 

As for quests - I haven't really followed the main story beyond finding Kellogg. Most of it has been exploring via the Minuteman and  Brotherhood of Steel quests. Though most of those quests will turn into an hour long detour when I find a subway or building to loot and explore. Main issue being I'll fill up with sh*t before I even get to the quest and end up returning home to craft it all down for bits.  

I stumbled into a comic book store in Emerald City which had quite a few quest items for quests which I've yet to start. So that might be a point of interest for some. 

Pretty much same progress of the main quest. My new power unit has not arrived yet and I can pick uo the CPU cooler tomorrow. So you guys have like 4-5 days more playtime as me right now. I also "suffer" from the same issue tat I go out to do something very specific and end up getting sidetracked a lot.

Yet to focus on that part of "base building". I've just occupied the gas station where you find Dogmeat - seems to have everything I need already built in. Though I am wondering if I need to build security there? Only had one raider attack, though that part of the map is fairly secure it seems. 

On the offchance you've not figured it out yet, the answer is to open the workshop inventory with "r", and then to find the item as per usual container mechanics.
