Finished chapter 1 last night. Amazing game, worth the price tag Imo. My only gripe in that every boss battle, bar the last one, feels like it should be in resident evil rather than MGS

The full Online mode (MGO - Metal Gear Online) isn't released yet (gets released in October). All you can do at the moment is raid other player's FOBs, which is pretty fun :P
