Metal Gear Solid Hype


Anyone a fan of MGS and getting The Phantom Pain? Really hyped for it. Hope it won't disappoint.

I've played MGS 2,3,4, Ground Zeroes, and I've preordered TPP (MGS V)

The graphics are AWESOME!

 

I cannot describe how much I am looking forward to this. I just hope there's more content than ground zeroes. Everything I've seen looks promising though.

Yeah Ground Zeroes was just a demo (a gameplay and story intro to TPP). I reckon TPP will be as long as previous MGS games. The open-world stuff is gonna be interesting, completely different to previous MGS games. I wonder how that will turn out.

Emotional launch trailer released today.

I refuse to get hyped about a game these days because the simple fact is, the amount of a cockup the game is quite often, directly proportional to the amount of hype it receives.

Has it been penned in for 'free with x/y/z GPU yet, as that is usually a combat indicator for a pile of poop that won't last.

For anyone thinking about getting the game, on release day I'll be live streaming some MGS V gameplay on YouTube Gaming.

Fingers crossed it won't be absolutely broken on release.

'the game' comes as a <10MB steam client on the disk ... and there is no preload phase ... so have fun even trying to get that to run on release day =)
