CUP_Terrains

Please can I encourage you to all download CUP_terrains_core and CUP_terrains_maps as soon as possible. They are large downloads and will be replacing AiA.





We're being forced down this route faster than we would have liked due to inconsistencies in the way that PlayWithSix applies dependancies to the maps we use.

I suspect we will be forced to move over to this new format within a few days if not sooner - thanks for your understanding.

Note: AiA_TP will become redundant, so don't worry, you will get that space back as soon as we can ditch it. 

Is the repo already updated?

No, I won't make any changes without consulting with Jamie / Apollo etc. The changes are too fundamental.

I have set the server to DL the mods in the background so we are ready to go when and if I get go-ahead.

I know - but it will start a ball rolling that could include needing to edit ALL the missions that call AiA within their mod { }'s..... it's a big job and not one I want to start till I have 100% agreement from J/A - who will undoubtably have to correct the mistakes I will makes along the way.

That's one of the reasons I always recommend deleting any mods called inside the mission.SQF between the { }'s

Oh balls. I downloaded cup terrains the other day and now I have to do it all again as it's been split into 2 files.

No - just rename it to @cup_terrains_core and move the map PBO's to a folder caller @cup_terrains_maps

Ok Duala has been temporarily removed from the Public server and repos. This should stip PW6 pulling in @cup_terrains_core by mistake

Does it effect the private server in the same way? Should we stay off Duala for the time being? Just asking as I'll be making the next Trident operation over the weekend on Duala, but can hold off on it til this is resolved.
