The modding team has been busy adding Merlins to the 3CB BAF Vehicles mod

The new Merlins are now available on the public server, plus updates to the Apache, Wildcat, Jackal and Coyotes.

'Bitching betty' audio warnings

Just checked it out and I am making a little overview/review video in german for those germans. :)


Is bitching betty by the way only active when you are being locked on? I tried to damage the merlin and got the engine yellow and sling loading red and heard nothing.

The wildcats and apache have fully functional audio warnings as per real aircraft. I'm not too sure of the functions on merlins but can confirm that altitude warnings are present.

Apache can turn BB off for when flying nap of the earth like apaches are supposed to do.

BB damage is not on all components, just: engines, rotors, instruments and some weapons.  

The damage thresholds for when BB cuts in, are a little different from BI's yellow and red indicators.

Weird. I just went in the editor and checked it out and I get no voice warnings for stuff like low altitude or damage on the apache or the merlin.

The altitude warnings are vectored. Fly straight towards the ground or a steep hill and you should get them. 
If that doesn't work it may be down to your arma audio settings.
