I dont mind Namalsk, there are some nice spots on the southwest side of the map, only problem i have with it is that creepy b****h but i dont think it should be taken out of rotation.

All of them are up-to-date. I'm not sure what SJ is referring to, other than "don't use a mission you downloaded more than a few weeks ago because it will have been updated since then".
All of them are subtly different of course, but it's not the equipment / bases which are important, rather the scripting and modules which you need to re-use.

The "problem" I have with namalsk is that it has no obvious mission goals. I know I can head out of base and go into some hot zones. But I know especially public players like at least some kind of direction. Doesnt really matter that you end up doing the same thing (heading out and going to red zones).

YES!
This is the main problem with this mission. second reason is that the map is small so it's ideal for scenario gameplay, not for extended public mission gameplay.
And yes. the ambient noises is not part of realism type of gameplay, our style is not schizophrenia simulator 20xx.

I had received some pokes in Ts from regular pubies asking "Do we still play on Namalsk" which indicates that they don't want to play on this mission.

In general: This mission makes me miserable and depressed.

Namalsk is on for 3 days out of 36 and many do like it, although I agree it would be nice to get rid of the ambient noises.
Whether it stays in rotation is up to Goodson, but personally I like the map and would prefer to see it stay in.

I've found Namalsk is a bit more entertaining when you remove the helicopter transport element and focus on raiding via boat assault (using air exclusively as CAS).
