I have to disagree here. More powerful CAS would have a bad impact on the balance of the mission and it would most likely end up "accidently" killing hostages (not like this is already happening a lot).

There is no war to end all wars.

I know what you mean, but I was arguing not for "more powerful", but rather for "more appropriate". I had to do a closer-than-danger-close strike on a BMP right next to the hostage hangar using HE rockets, whereas if I'd had a usable cannon I could have quickly and accurately removed the threat with that at far less risk to friendly forces and hostages.

Well if you make it as a matter of fact stronger, it will make all the other elements on the server weaker.

- replaced Harrier (GBU-12) with an F-18E and an F-18F

Decided not to replace the RHS A-10 for the vanilla monstrosity. It hurts my eyes too much.  ;-) Many people have also said they enjoy the RHS version despite it's shortcomings.
Also, the USMC refused to give British forces one of their mish-mashed Harriers, but the USAF sent over a couple of spare F-18's.

Thanks to the CO's for getting the server up so quickly tonight.

Post update issues noticed so far:

Tasks have not been generated in the current mission.
The virtual arsenal removes your weapon when accessing it. There are also no weapons, launchers or side-arms available. Uniforms and gear seem to be unaffected.
Not sure if its just due to a restart, but it also took longer than normal to connect and load in.

I'm going to guess that the new arma update broke a few things ;)

Tasks confirmed broken - needs updating in mission, but not sure what yet.
In single player, there are no problems with the VA. Weapon is not removed and all (restricted arsenal) equipment is available. Need to check what the difference is with MP / confirm LessThan's observations.
Load time did seem longer to me too, but a bit subjective without timing data. Not something to worry about.

Additionally - all public server missions need a small tweak to allow them to load following a @CBA_A3 update today. I'll get around to this at some point. So in the meantime, we need to leave it on Ursus.

Alexander, can you check the restricted VA and remove the Opfor RHS gear, letting me have the updated script ASAP?
