That's an issue with vanilla Arma, though. It's not possible to dictate how heavy rain can be in a mission, so the only option would be to disable weather completely - not something that most would approve of. Yes, it's ludicrous... but part of the game is not just having stuff served to you on a platter but instead having to work for it :)

The missions are set so that the majority of public play in the day/evening will be in daylight. Roughly 8am on server restart. This issue doesn't occur very often for the busy play periods. 

If you're playing in the early hours it could be dark in game and agreed that NVG's are next to useless in heavy rain - try without NVG's, using flares, chemlights, helicopter spotlights and torches on weapons. It's pretty good fun and very atmospheric.

Server needs a restart some people's FPS was around 10 mine dipped to 30 which is unusual. 

His men would follow him anywhere, but only out of curiosity.

All of the ace warning messages are mission related and can be fixed by copying the ace3 modules from one of my current public server missions.

The zlt fast rope script is still being called from init.sqf when it is no longer present.

Posted on the Alive forums today in relation to the freezing issues we and others have been experiencing:

Kudos to Highhead who tracked down the bug. We actually found a couple of other bugs and compatibility issues that are now fixed. This build will be released this week as 1.1.
Many many thanks to you guys for your patience and help in tracking this down!!!
Also we are shipping an in game tool to allow you guys to index maps...

They seem to be ready to go - Mannerheim was working fine last night without doing anything to the mission file after the @alive update.
