We did try... working till early hours of the morning  BUT something was broken - we couldn't get it to boot the new mission properly.

Tbh I gave up but did assume that Lifetap had fixed, he probably forgot too :-0

I've put an updated Namalsk mission on the public server now, as I won't be home until very late tomorrow and it's all working fine.

Nofg, when you say the Capraia mission hasn't been working right, what symptoms are you seeing please?

That sounds almost entirely down to the mechanics of @alive; perhaps something has changed in the way that the @alive commander prioritises targets.

My gut feel is it has nothing to do with the '/author' error. As a side note, all of the 3CB mods were configured with "author = <string>" already, so don't have a problem with BIS's change.

The Capraia mission is set-up to be weighted towards infantry (@Alive Mil Obj, Force Weighting: Light Infantry), so the fact that armour, mechanised or motorised reinforcements are only sometimes seen is by design and related to the randomisation of AI spawn from the @alive module. 1 in 4 sounds about right.

What is not usual, is that the out-lying towns, once captured by Blufor, would usually be prioritised for recapture by AAF and they'd send wave after wave of troop to attack. If that happens sometimes, but not always (I haven't confirmed personally yet), it sounds like the @alive system has changed and maybe just purely decides it's not worth the effort on the lower priority towns!

Next time it's in rotation, let's check what happens at Speranza or Valorosi - both have high priorities assigned, in contrast to places like Corragio or Onore. It could be that we need to alter some of the LocationOutpost_F priority/size variables to re-balance the mission.

Was on Capraia last night and more or less the same thing Apart from the odd few ground troops the reinforcements seem to be only by parachute -  trucks as well.  No armour and a dirth of AI in general apart from the main invasion area.  The Castle was empty too..  Mind you the mission had beeen going for a couple of days without a restart.
