And that's why Shacktac disable the combat simulation on the AI in 15 second bursts, making the AI ignore threats and combat, and actively sprint towards the players, before then reactivating it to have them engage. This repeating cycle seems to work well for them, especially with the reduced AI accuracy / high spotting combination they use, but this will primarily be because they only ever use iron sights or scopes without magnification. Giving players a whole range of magnified scopes means you have to have the AI be fairly accurate as well otherwise you can pick them off long before they get close.

I am not sure if that is something we can fix. I think - stress think - it is part of ALIVE insurgency. If it is a script inside the mission, then yes, it could be tweaked.

Fools Gold: Many public players, an overwhelming majority in fact, have FPS issues with this map. Myself included. I have never had such bad frames on a public server. Server restarts seem to fix the sever temporarily however, only lasts for 30 minutes to 60 minutes max.

The server will be down for the duration of the private op and then we will switch the map anyway. I guess we have to investigate what is causing the fps issues people reported.
