It has always been the downside of ALIVE. It has never correctly implemented helicopter and air assets. They will usually attack and respond if fired upon, and jets tended to circle around an airfield, before shifting to attack mode if they detected enemy vehicles. There was not much we could do about it. The new update to ALIVE includes a brand new Air Commander module. Hopefully this will go someway to correcting the issue. However, we'd need to know how to correctly implement it and all of the missions will need to be updated first.

When I was making missions, I never experienced situations where the helicopters spawned in immobile clumps like we see in Capraia and Copper Valley :x

Another issue in relation to spamming helicopters. Zargabad map never used to have armed helicopters spawn, now they are spamming every few minutes.

It is probably related to the new addition of the air commander module in ALIVE. Our existing missions won't have it included as they were built before it was created. Also, the Opfor Commander probably has the option to reinforce objective locations via helicopter, so is clearly opting to do so, rather than using trucks. They'll all have to be looked at, however we are down a man as Bluemaxx is on LOA and I just don't have the time at the moment to go through all of the missions in the repo. If anyone feels like joining the Public Mission team, feel free to volunteer.

Almost 6 weeks ago I asked for my name to be removed from the title of the public server missions and was told it would not be a problem.
I am still receiving questions about why they are bugged/not working properly and when will I be fixing them, despite the fact that I passed them over to 3CB at the beginning of the year.

Judging by the mission currently running on the server this has not been actioned.
