When there were only 2 pilots, public demand was for more pilot slots.
When there was only 1 jet, public demand was for more jets.
You don't have to go back many pages on this thread to find the demand for this.

I'm not going to try to restrict certain pilot slots to certain vehicles, or restrict pilot slots to only 3CB members, or restrict pilots to only those 3CB members that have passed rotary/fixed wing training courses.

You guys need to self-police I'm afraid. We can't stop people doing silly things in jets any more than we can with tanks, boats or ride-on lawn-mowers.
The only hard and fast rule we have is that pilots must be on comms and in contact with an FAC. If they don't follow that rule, alert an admin.

When was it removed? Alex was using it yesterday.

VComAI was removed 5th Feb.
I think you're confusing mods. You probably mean Zeus, Ares or Bcombat?

I'm aware the respawn is still problematic. To be honest, we've never run a mission over the last two years, regardless of the method used (vanilla BIS respawn module, @alive, multiple scripts) which has reliably worked without error. Spawning items in the air doesn't actually solve the issue unfortunately.

The respawn on wreckage is something I probably can fix, as is the rather too fast deletion of 'abandoned' vehicles. Just needs a bit of time.

In the previous Podagorsk and Reshmaan public missions, I set the wildcats and littlebirds to spawn with a meter of elevation to try and remove the issue. I still received reports of them spawning in the ground and exploding when pilots got in them. The only work around seems to be to fire a shot into them before getting in.

I had a massive floating disk over my head, so did anything I spawned in... debug mode was enabled in the default confg.sqf  so I switched that to false ;) 

Oh, and just to confirm I was using BCombat but I was also talking to somebody about VCom and how OP it made the enemy, maybe that's where the confusion came from?
