FPS drop at night will probably be due to your Dynamic Lighting setting. It handles the effects of the streetlighting. Turn is down and you should see a slight improvement.

As Evrik says, fps is largely dependant on the ai numbers. When we play our TvT's we get high fps too. Nothing to do with mods or scripts (at least the ones we have tested and approved)

Regarding low FPS, as Evrik said lighting can have an effect, but also HDR as well. Keep both low if your struggling, I do find it odd though, my FPS is always better at night regardless of settings.

Dynamic lights, shadows and HDR have a big impact on your FPS, especially at night.

OK, so I'm talking about server fps which addresses the point RDogg made.

If the server runs at 10 fps everyone will know about it, regardless of client side settings.

For example me and SJ often have the same fps in game, even though my PC is like an abacus compared to his, because we are being restricted by the server.

All 3 artillery outposts destroyed in a single, well co-oordinated push. Very impressive. So impressive in fact that the russians stationed in south  podagorsk have surrendered.
Next deployment for 3CB: Relaxing peacekeeping mission on the mediterranean island of Capraia.

Looking at server.cfg...
// INGAME SETTINGS
disableVoN=0;                                         // If set to 1, Voice over Net will not be available

Is this a real thing? Could we just outright disable VON? Today we had 2 or three people that kept having issues with this, we kept hearing them via VON...disabling it would be nice

No - as sometimes it's needed to talk to players without TS installed etc.

But realistically: How many people will be able to setup PwS and join the sever with the right modset (otherwise there's no talking to them since they get auto-kicked) and will then not be able to install teamspeak?

I think in all my time on the sever I have come across only three people that actually played (rather than harass) on the server but weren't on TS. And they didn't use VON either...(they didn't really say much in text chat either)

The constant issues with VON/TFAR seem like a hefty price to pay for the off-chance that you might need to talk (rather than use chat) to somebody who isn't on TS.
I'm sure we could help people get their TS setup through direct text chat as well :)

I disagree Alexander.

Always been easy to get people to un-map the capslock key if they're using it by accident - and sometimes as admin you need the ability to speak over the channel..

In all my time people speaking over VON has never been a problem.

As you're itching to kick people tonight it seems, I would suggest abuse of the VON is a good reason.... :-)

not sure but I know that delta has been trying to get PW6 to update the Chinook mod. But the server may now be out of date, need a new key. Gimme 10 and I'll try and fix. J

All done and Up-to-date...
