To get the cursor in the first place, you need "show cursor in [self] interaction". 
I'd recommend just playing with the options and seeing what you prefer.

Kryklin has figured out how to prevent the insta-death issues, updated mission will go live as soon as somebody with server access gets home ;)

Traditional Arma Squad management via the SL through the "Context key" and then "Team" then "Team Colour" should still work fine.

Apparently the unconsciousness system is completely broken - there were people on the public running around killing each other quite easily after the update. Also, you don't respawn with the correct gear.

Have to say, since we've ditched AGM I have noticed a performance increase (although I could be imagining it). Plus, I don't have any popup errors anymore.

Two obvious differences to consider, although not saying it is either:
1) Kyklin's mission - fair to say he doesn't have the same alive public server mission making experience as I do. Not a criticism, just a fact that optimising fps for our particular server and mod set is complex.
2) @ace3 - I've read quite a bit on the BIS forums about poor performance with ace, but no real personal testing done to check those reports.

Lots of OpFor armor on the map - a Tank is good support for once and the Abrams is well modeled - if anything it's on the weak side.

Challenger whilst obviously preferred is not really viable as it's OP armor wise and the Targeting system requires AGM. I'm sure it will get fixed.

I don't really like all the humvee's primarily as they will have been spawned by zeus - which means they're not properly on the server - there's one immediate cause of FPS loss.

However I couldn't find any Ridgebacks at all to spawn using Zeus. Anyone else know where these hide ?

Seconding Apollo's comments it's absolutely pointless to compare the FPS on this mission with previous missions. Different Modset, different Mission builder etc.

I've been getting pretty good frames since we've started using ACE - not sure if I'm imagining it or not (AGM used to give me popup errors on main menu + when joining server). Averaging around 30 FPS on the current public server mission, not noticed any significant frame drops (although we have been getting the occasional lag spike).

Regarding ACE performance - AFAIK the only performance drop in ACE occurs when you're using the interaction menu (UI probably isn't fully optimized atm), this has been reported by alot of people on the BI forums. Apart from that, everything appears fine.
