Op Herrick XXV Feedback thread

Latest update:
- Added 3 more task types Destroy Arms Cache, Destroy Drugs Cache and Destroy IED factory.  Details of each task are provided when the task is activated
- Reduced the radius of the IED clearance task from 200m to 100m
- Fixed Recce tasks and reactivated them

Previous updates:
- Ambulance added
- AI added to Panama's
- Grippen changed to blufor version
- Moved quads closer to spawn
- Replaced medical tent with medical structure, and enabled as an ACE medical center

Just wondering if anyone had issues landing/hovering choppers in the mission.  I am getting 40 to 60 fps flying but on reducing speed to 50 and descending for hovering or landing the fps drops to between 1 to 3 fps for up to 10 seconds which often results in hard landing/crash or immediate Manpad hit.  This is particularly near the mosque areas. I think it is due to AI spawning.  Unless ready for it can be catastrophic.  Also though frames can pick up after increasing speed and coming around it drops again when slowing down.

Am playing arms64 profile with sound reduced to 32

Are you attempting to land in an area there are no players already on the ground? Are you landing in an area far away from players already in combat?

Was only person on server no other players today.  Previously a couple of players but well away from where I was.

Have played on the mission a few times now but from the air and ground.

Very tough map to play, but thats not always a bad thing. Engineers are always required for IEDS which I think is amazing, reminds me of lithiam but without the invisable IEDS. The contact rate is very high which can get overwheming at times, but it pretty much on par with Malden for a comparison. Finding the last IED can be a bit of a nightmare. Whenever I've popped on the weather seems to be the main killer, its always foggy and never clear like before it was running OSOD. This pretty much takes the air assets out fo play because they can never see anything from a safe hight and end up getting turned into swiss cheese. Also makes the Gripen a bit of a dog as you cant hold enough time over the target with sightline when dropping ordinance before the laser spotter flies off target and you flatten a house 200m from target. This might just be an issue with spotting laser having quite a small arc facing downwards/to the rear but when combined with the fog it pretty much grounds the Gripen and A10.

The intention is to have both changeable weather and start time.  It's one of the areas of future development for OSOD

Was trying to do a "secure area" mission, found 3 AI prone in an open field not responding to anything. though other AIs around the mission was working normal

The prone AI didnt react to me shooting a budde 10m away from him

Not sure how this could be reproduced 

played again the other day, weather had swapped to good daytime, but still only have about 2.5km view distance from the air when my settings were much higher.

The HVTs appear to be spawning invisible. 

Happened twice tonight.
