The 3CB Research and Development Department have been hard at work this afternoon, checking out the Chinook options.

Long story short, the Konyo Chinook, as previously announced, doesn't really fit the bill all that well. Basically it's a US air frame model (in US skin) and looks quite different to the British Chinook. Although the ability to load/unload down the ramp is VERY cool, it's also unfortunately bugged - any disembarkation while hovering results in main rotor destruction! You also can't do a rolling landing and the cockpit MFD's are rather simplistic.

(We also considered the HAFM US Helicopters but there were some game-breaking bugs in the Chinook cockpit).

By contrast the Deltagamer @chinookpack, is spot on visually, and comes with a British RAF skin. Loading is done at the back which is nice. Although the ramp doesn't lower on the British version it does have a ramp gunner position. (The US variants included in the pack do have walkable interiors should we need them.)

- British variant CH47F HC4, looks like the real thing
- capacity for a Troop (3 Sections, plus 5 crew)
- better cockpit MFD's
- better sounds, especially inside
- rolling landings
- load/unload while hovering
- no inside flag textures to worry about ;-)
- similar, if not identical flight characteristics (so I'm told, lol)
- under slinging of vehicles

This Chinook is now on the Public Repo (refresh it) and on the Public Server for testing and your feedback.

Have you used the Personal UAV? It is known it causes problems with the armory

Before this rumour gets out of control...

It MIGHT be the case that the I&A personal UAV conflicts with the virtual arsenal, as yet there is no proof...I suspect it is a more generic issue with the virtual arsenal and mods.
We need some more testing to confirm.

Yea, seems to be related with the arsenal nonetheless, as it appears a good lot of the CTD are while people are in or around the boxes. Usually once once person goes, a few around the box will follow suite soon after oddly enough. 

Edit: I have crashed multiple times since the striped down modset, however all have been while at base in or around the box - never any once I'm out and about (if that helps some?).

With the v1.26 ArmA update something in the Invade & Annex scripts was causing massive rpt spam "No center supported" and constant client crashes.
We took off all the mods and ran I&A mission 3CB r3 (vanilla), but still the problem persisted.

So Serjames and I have replaced the I&A scripts with Alive, but otherwise it's largely the same.

New mission: 3CB_ALiVE_Test_Mission_r2.Altis

With the addition of @Alive we are at modset 6. Please update your Public Repo.

No center supported sounds like insurgency where it uses a define command to work out the center of the map. Doubt it would be that but you could do a folder search of the mission for the code center and just see if it throws up anything?
