I think there is a script on that mission to empty the vehicle inventories - and for some reason it fires on stuff you add..

So it's a bug, yes but with the mission, not the Game itself.

Lots of client crashes on the public server with:

Modset 5
co50 AW Invade & Annex -ALTIS- [3CB r09a]

It would be nice to think it's just ArmA bugs, however we've recently played TvT's and Escape from Stratis (Coop v AI) without problems over several hours.

As the public is pretty much unplayable as is, it's worth trying something else, so I've put on "Patrol Ops 3.1".
Completely unchanged as downloaded from the Internet - if it all works we can look at adding things like the Armoury, Chinook, Trixies weapons, but in the meantime enjoy using VAS again ;).

Mods reduced back to Modset 3: Update your Repo.
@cba_a3
@sthud_a3
@st_nametags
@vts_weaponresting
@task_force_radio

Got to be worth a try? See if we get any stability.
Come on BIS, hurry up and release the hotfix!

Aside from the desync issue which still gives some players problems now and again, Patrol Ops seems to have been quite stable for the Sunday Op and public play on Monday.
I played quite a bit and didn't see any client crashes occur. No one has reported anything here either.

So now we add back in the Chinook (progress especially for Alexander):

repository updated
@cba_a3
@chinookpack [Added]
@sthud_a3
@st_nametags
@task_force_radio
@vts_weaponresting

Patrol Ops 3CB r1
- added a Chinook helicopter (@chinookpack), replacing a Ghosthawk
- fixed flag error on load by changing to UK flag pole not custom image
- added 2 TFAR radio boxes at base

Mhhh.....I still didn't get to see the magical "update" button [I still had the mod downloaded and it apparently hasn't been updated],
but at least I got to see the number next to the repo name go up when doing "refresh repo"....considering the circumstances, I'm happy :P

Now testing the Arsenal to see if it causes ctd's.
I've white-listed it so that only NATO gear is available.
Applying saved loadouts seems a bit funky - often you can't select them. Happens on blank missions too.
So the Arsenal's primary function will be to give access to all weapons, particularly once we reintroduce Trixies.

Patrol Ops 3CB r2
- added Arsenal (restricted) on ammo boxes
- removed separate TFAR boxes

- changed the Arsenal (Armoury) to un-restricted so that saved loadout's can be selected.
- added an A164 Wipeout

Some periods of high desync today, but no crashes reported. Desync eventually cleared without server restart.

Would propably need something to replenish the radios with correct frequency presets. They ran out last night, making it impossible to communicate using the 7800 radios.

I don't understand what you mean.
The ammo boxes have the Arsenal ("Open Armoury") on them which include an unlimited quantity of radio's, all set to the same frequency.

A-164 Wipeout added.
Not exactly "fast", but might help to deal with the copious amounts of enemy armour.

If they were on 31MHz it was probably because they had tuned to that frequency, it being the standard for "Alpha".
Anyone with a 7800 would be stuffed though.
I deliberately haven't messed with the mission to set the frequencies by default to 31, 32 etc, even though I know how. Keeping it simple.

Apollo, does the mission come with a clean-up script at all? I've noticed the bodies pile up at base when people disconnect and the enemy dead remain long after the mission ends.
