I was completely wrong: @AGM and @CSE have really joined forces with the Ace devs, giving up their independence to work on 'the'  realism mod, ACE3, which will be open source (Yay!) and released shortly after the marksman dlc. 

Maybe somebody not on a mobile could add the link to th E biforums thread where this was just announced?
