For anyone that wants to try the GIT release version of ACE3, I put a built version into the File Transfer channel on TS. You will need to be running the latest version of CBA. You will need to configure your keys to use the features. Go to your usual control key config, then near the bottom left, there should an option button to configure addons. Click in there and select ACE3 from the drop down menu.

So anyone else getting really MASSIVE slow-downs when you try to interact with anything... ? Literally freezes the screen.

Self interaction works fine... but not interaction ?

Watching the teaser makes me get HYPED for so many things I have seen in this past.


Medical System
Looks like they are using a lot of parts of CSE in ACE and to me the system CSE was using was in every way superior to the one we have in AGM. It can offer a more complex system that you can customize and it also had a very basic system.

BLUFORCE Tracking
Very briefly seen in the teaser and I love that stuff. In ArmA 2 I was used to play on settings where you could not see yourself or other players on the map. The traxking will enable that certain roles have access to the information where other players are and can also hand out orders or things like a SALUTE report. in CSE that was already working very well and after you got used to it (which was like 15 minutes) you coul give orders on the tablet and place down good salute reports. This is some exciting stuff for everyone who is playing section leader and every leading position above.

I also liked the CSE medical system (the basic version of it), but we switched to AGM because (at the time) CSE was extremely buggy with AI. Anyone remember when the CSE AI become invincible when running? Or invincible while unconscious, no matter what settings we used?

We reported the issues to them and I think they fixed them up after a couple of weeks or so (but by that time we'd already switched to AGM).

If I am correct two days ago was the date for the "milestone" for the first public release. That does not mean that this was the release date or that the first release is actually near. It was just a date for the development. This could right now mean everything from:

- Their development phase for the first release is finished and they are testing it now.
- It will come out soon
- Mod is not in the state for a release yet and they missed their milestone

I think everybody's keen to try @ACE3 out but they need to actually release it first xD (There's only an old unofficial 'test build' on PwS right now).
