Pretty sure ACE logistics already covers all this ? We even have a stockpile of sandbags and emplacements at each base to enable this gameplay ?

SJ, ALIVE logistics is what you're thinking of and if we are possibly moving away from alive it would make sense to at least have a look at this from my PoV and was going to be a suggestion for later.

I am sure we looked at this a while ago. There were a few issues with it then. I don't know if it has been polished up. I personally think it would be of benefit during Patrol Ops, although I am aware of others who don't share that view due to some elements of it being unrealistic (i.e. units being able to carry and quickly deploy H-barriers etc...).

Having reread Mustache's post, it's once again clear that players on the public aren't aware that the ALiVE logistics are set up and work for exactly that sort of scenario, setting up FOB and other positions. Many can be loaded into HEMMT or sling loaded and then manipulated using the ALIVE menu.

The only public mission I can think of that might not have one is Namalsk, you may just not be looking in the right spots.

Hah, ironic - you're correct, the mission that I was playing as I typed that message indeed doesn't have them Okay, so that makes two that I know don't, but I can't think of any others that are missing it - at the very least, the majority have it.

Have you turned on player logistics in the alive menu?

I've not looked yet. Would you believe it wasn't my top priority! However I'm at home tomorrow, will take a peek.

OK, just done a test on URSUS. I can load and unload in to a HEMTT absolutely fine.(ALiVE's positioning of objects on unloading not withstanding)

The process I tested was:

1) Switch on ALiVE Player Logistics
2) Drive HEMTT into Supply dump
3) Walk up to Hesco barrier, use action menu to pick up object
4) Walk object to HEMTT
5) Drop object using the action menu
6) Look at the HEMTT (around the fuel tank in the middle). Use the action menu to Load object.
7) Drive HEMTT to drop off location
8) Look at the HEMTT in the same place as above and use the action menu to Load Out Object.

As I say, apart from where ALiVE decides to put the object, it works fine.
