BoxLoader - Vehicle in Vehicle Loading

Hi mod team I saw this Mod on the steam workshop and it looks cool and maybe I could be used to build a FOB as a 1st Mission and then defend it or use the FOB as a stepping stone to offensive Ops instead of zeus making the Fob or using a ready built for us. Also the mod comes with ACE compatibility and also does support our BAF Merlins. Ive linked it down below;BoxLoaded - Vehicle in Vehicle Loading

Not sure why you need a mod to do this unless I'm missing something. ACE already gives you the ability to put objects inside other objects and interact with them. My new public OP does exactly this.

Is the main advantage of this that the objects you load are actually visible?

Yes and build a fob without the help of zeus etc, kinda making a sort of initial build up before setting off on a mission, the same thing is on Liberation Game Mode but different.

I'm not sure on the usefulness but it would be nice to see the stuff you've got loaded in the vehicle.

So, as I said before, you can do that without a mod. I'd be wary of the MP performance of seeing the loads. 

As I told Mustache somewhere in relation to R3F, and is always the case for new mods, if you want something, you need to download and test it thoroughly with our existing mods and then check the rpt for errors before they will consider it .

Another thing to consider is would you really want to be building an FOB at the start of an OP? I think 20+ people running around with HESCO barriers would be chaos. Also, people are here to play as marines, not as an engineer company, so I doubt many would enjoy having to sit around building things. 

It depends on the Op I suppose. While I am not a fan of this particular mod in MP due to performance (it probably looks and works well in single player), I do personally enjoy building things and as Reddog says, that can be done with our current modset without adding more mods. I'd have no issue reinforcing a compound into a PB with Hesco's as part of a small (2 - 4 man) engineering team while the rest of the players were defending the area. The downside is the realism. It isn't particularly realistic to see Marines carrying Hescos and bunkers around. If anything, we'd need a system similar to the trenches, where instead of creating a rampart out of the ground, you slowly build up a sand bag or Hesco barrier - but perhaps need to be next to a supply truck or similar item (container) in order to actually construct it.

I have no idea of that is possible - although I would have thought replacing the trench model with a sandbag wall could be done.
