What fuses do the 60mm rounds use? are they like the 81mm with super quick and delayed?

I think for starters keep it to SQ/impact for config purposes and later once we have it running then change it to something we want. I never played with mortars but i know bits about them, i get all my info from my mate who was an MFC(A).

Yeah Mortars are a good "Entry level" to Artillery. Surprised you didn't get hands on in "The Regiment" being you are all over light Infantry stuff.

I played with the L96A1 and SF GPMG instead, tubes were never my thing :P

Cat, Nemi Apollo and myself were talking about backpack vs launcher..

Looks like we can definitely have it as a 1 piece backpack, like the UAV

1st is the mortar config

<00:19:09> "MyCatSaid": class assembleInfo {
            primary = false;
            base = "";
            assembleTo = "";
            dissasembleTo[] = {};
            displayName = "";
        };

this one is the UAV so could work solo ?

<00:19:19> "MyCatSaid": class assembleInfo {
            primary = true;
            base = "";
            assembleTo = "";
            displayName = "";
            dissasembleTo[] = {"AAF_D_UAV_B"};
        };

Anyway thought it might help

That's really cool Mike.. I like it...

Questions can we configure the bag pack to actually hold stuff too ? As well as being able to drop it on the ground and look like a 60mm ?

I.e. one med pack two Mortar shells 6 Stanags etc ?

Wouldn't having a fair few mortar rounds + the mortar tube + extras make your character just completely exhausted all the time, mortar rounds are pretty f**k heavy.

True, no go run up that hill with it all on:P

But on the plus side as we are doing the config ourselves it can be "tweaked" to fit in with what we want from it, not having to rely on another mod maker making overdoing or not doing enough to the config.

Let me know when we've settled on the model and I'd be happy to take a crack or help out with the skin. Currently working on a few others -  so once finalized, I'd be happy to prioritize this :).

Ok great -did see them, however I also noticed there was some discussion re the models compatibility. However if all works I'll go ahead and take a crack.

Probably something you would tie to the weapon in a config.

I would think it would work the same way as normal weapons where you have to specify the end of the barrel in the model, but as i don't make models i am not 100% sure, i just stick to configs.

Howl, can you add a specular lighing map (jeez I sound Like I know what I'm talking about !) to give it some metallic shine ? It will take off some of that matt look it has ?
