So I just wanted to do a quick sit-rep to showcase all the hard work that is going on in the modding team right now.

To give you a feel for what we're working on....

Ok lets go into a little more detail - Trixie has been working hard on creating us some really nice Backpacks and equipment



We're awaiting some permissions for some modded Vests... but they're looking great.



Uniforms ? But but where are the GUNS I hear you all cry.

Yep Trixie is really famous for his guns... fear naught - they're coming too !

Models are pretty much ready. Textures are being looked at now by Arka and Null is busy with paper, pen and calculator working out how much each of these beasties should weigh.



Lightweight L7A2 - FN's prototype pitch - being tested by MOD now.



This is the most recent iteration of the L110 - FIST - lightened furniture, extended barrel - Grip-pod and Stock.



He's also got the L85A2 looking mighty fine... Bipods/grip-pods all work by the way !



How's this for the latest/oldest toy the MOD are messing with.. Yep they're bringing back the L86 - with new furniture - it's apparently out-shooting the L129 ! We're calling it the L86A3 - though it has no official title that we can ascertain. We only know it does exist and is being tested now.

Howl has been working really hard to re-texture our 3CB Jackal - we're just awaiting his master image files so we can re-compile and release.



Little hard to see in the pics, but significant increase in detail and resolution.



Lifetap and the team have also been working to improve the functionality - "Doors" people... say no more.

Oh and we have 6 wheeled versions too !

Arka has been working on our Apache



Skin is 99% there - just awaiting the Config and other tweaks before we can release - Andy and Evrik will be assisting there.

Gav is working on some nice Royal Tank Regiment Crew kit... face it chaps the RM's do not drive tanks...

We've been asked to Re-texture the Ridgeback, fix and release the Coyote, and most recently a Wildcat + Wheels and custom gun pods etc has been passed to us to finish.


SO if there was ever any doubt that we've blooming busy in the background...

Just really out of curiosty, are we working on a Stretcher?  Or is just cosmetic for now on the Backpack?

I think it's just a model for the backpack - nothing to stop it being coded into something more clever down the line..

Those helmets are done, along with some others, and will be included in our 3CB equipment pack.

@Frosty  The idea is to update the Shacktac HUD to better reflect our squad structure.

The main change would be listing the two fire teams in separate columns, with the SL and FLT at the top of each column.

Goodson has had some success with this.

So just to keep all you fine gentleman up to date with how things are going.  The mod team have been working really hard as you all know and we are reaching the final stages for releasing our weapons pack. So much so that we are gathering final images and here are some teasers for you.

As always the mods team are looking for new members to help us whether you are new to modding or an old hand we can always do with the help, especially for texture artist.  All models need textures and we have plenty to do with just these weapons, then include the Jackals, Coyotes and our Helicopters and you can see that a bottle neck appears.  So don't hesitate to volunteer.
