I would prefer quality over quantity - but would caution trying to build to a spec.

Best terrains are 95% based on real terrains... with a lifelike feel.

Why not base it off a real life training base/ exercise area. A good mix of rolling plains, forests and FIBUA towns.

I would not try the approach of a single map that is trying to suit to everything we want to do. That can potentionally end up with a map that is "okay" at everything. :)

It is a bit of a shame that rivers and ponds are not working that well (or not at all) in ArmA 3. But I think something we have avaible at the moment would a terrain that also offers some gameplay for boats. Just imagine something like this in ArmA 3.

Would be pretty nice have a map where a big part is river delta with some nearby vegetation including small villages and maybe 1-2 a bit more larger villages.

There is no war to end all wars.

You mean kinda like the vietnam map nziwisago??

Deosnt have to be jungle related. There are a lot of other big river delta regions in the world. Nziwisago is a pretty straight and flat jungle map with some water at one end of the map and thats it. There are no real rivers and ponds in the map. Rivers and stuff like that could work very well to seperate areas for the map and form some nice areals for gameplay and also offer a more tactics and options by using boats.

How about the beautiful area around Royal Marine Base Chivenor in North Devon?

Two river estuarys, rolling hills, small woods, narrow winding lanes with high hedges, beaches, dunes, two medium towns of Bideford and Barnstaple, lots of small villages or hamlets.
A marine base with a small/medium airfield (RMB Chivenor) and a marine camp (Camp Aromanches at Instow).

Ive been very slowly working away at a copy of Magilligan Training Centre in Northern Ireland, If you want to take over that ill hand it over, i just don't have the time at the moment.
Goes from Magilligan point to Downhill and down to the river at Aghanloo.

There is also Ballykelly (now closed) former army and RAF base just to the south west.
