The weight factor lowers the height at which you can climb. So with a full backpack you cannot for instance climb on a roof. But you could scale a waist height wall. And with a buddy you could piggyback over something say head height.

Drop the backpack and then you have more capability...

Funnily enough, just like in real life

I can feed that back - please keep the feedback coming... The speed is supposed to represent hitting the wall and using the momentum to propel yourself up, it's not like scaling a climbing wall from a standing stand if you know what I mean

I think to me, instinctively I'd say that anything up to shoulder height should be scalable by anyone - if you can walk, you can clamber over that kind of obstacle, albeit very slowly if encumbered! Above that, maybe make it so only if you're below a weight *and* dashing that you can leap and mantle like you say?

Yea, love the added dynamic as I said earlier. Opens up the virtual Arma world in a whole new "dimension".

As you've mentioned - glad it is configurable in regards to what you can pull off dependent on your weight. Also agree with Benzy - the speed you can launch yourself up is a tad unrealistic (judging from the videos at least). Some of the more extreme feats need to be slowed down significantly - even when hitting a wall at speed - puling that off will only risk your balance. Slower more deliberate movement/speed would be the way to go (at least for the higher vaults).

What I would highly suggest though - add a stamina punishment for the feature (much like our static weapons). You launch yourself onto a roof or through a window, your stamina is instantly dropped to '0'...or at least decreased significantly. Adds a "cost" to the feature which could assist in balancing it out.

Ok weights are configurable via

 EM_weights= [lowest, middle, highest];

e.g.  EM_weights= [1000, 750, 300];

However BB and I have not figured out how to convert those numbers into KG weight, so some experimentation is needed

However this is not exactly important to me. A lot of people have written here why,.

There is no war to end all wars.

If you're using BI's magical weight unit, then I suggest using ace's conversion formula (we also use that for our weapons/etc):

This looks brilliant. And Apollo it is more than possible to jump a wall with an extra 30kg back pack on. Marines are trained for the possibility you have to scale a wall. You dont necessarily have to use it. I think it should be implemented

His men would follow him anywhere, but only out of curiosity.

I didn't say it wasn't possible. I said, tell me how long it takes you.
