Seems pretty fkn sweet so far

Yeah have been playing with it today (actually unbound the default arma map) and it is brilliant really like it and found little issues with it and it is so much better than the default arma map.

Can we delete this Thread, and continue to use the other one that already existed?

No, sorry Niko, that one was locked and I'm not re-opening it.

This thread can be used for feedback on actual experience of using cTab on our servers, as opposed to the previous one which was 'what it might be like'.
A fresh start so to speak, with the expectation that people will post maturely and objectively.

This is a trial period, so experiences, both positive and negative, are welcomed, to help us decide whether it becomes a permanent fixture in our inventory.

Right now you can btw not make a custom name for bluforce trackers. This was possible in the past, but some previous updates made this function buggy and so it is not in the mod right now. However this will be back at one point, probably when C-tab becomes o part of ACE3. This is something that will happen, but the ACE3 devs told me it is pretty low on tier priority list. The good thing is that our our usual markers appear to work fine.


I tested it on our zeus template for stratis with the AI enabled and gave some of the AI some tablets/pda.

Only issue I have found is that the in vehicle ctab is not currently working in 3cb vehicles, not sure why though

The default settings on the server are all helicopters and specific vanilla blufor vehicles to include the vehicle ctab.  Because modded vehicles (including ours) do not necessarily inherit from blufor vehicles, the C-tab will not be enabled by default.  

This can be remedied with a one line addition to the mission, but is unlikely to be done on the public missions, until the eval period is over and we decide whether we adopt the mod.

Obviously private ops will be done on a case by case basis.

Ah ok no problem, thought this would be the case but wanted to mention it just in case. 

And to be fait I would not really like to see the mod on the public server.
