To be fair, yes, but his technique was definitely interesting. It was as if he couldn't decide whether to let go or not.

His main problem was that instead of locking off it looked like he just tried to hold onto the rope as it ran through his hand (you see him move his hand up around to his front about half way down and he speeds up after that haha.
