Saw the video from last night lads cheers for doing the signals beret, just a pointer for the l85 tan rails.

Notice how this looks compared to what it is irl. (Beleive the 16AA variant is quite close to it)

As I said in the earlier post, that is the best that can be done with the existing model. We'd either have to model in the rail covers onto the weapon or use the 16AA model (which I believe is Kiory's L85 and not the one we are currently using). Neither are going to be done before this release which is imminent. If you don't think it is suitable, perhaps it might be better to remove it entirely from this release?

Up to you Evrik, like it's not a big issue just something which would have been neat. If it needs to be shuffled back to next release i'm fine with that if it's easier for you lads.

Clyde, yes i did notice that. Not sure why but there more recent images look tanned. (Maybe lighting / shadows)

They do indeed fill the gaps on the rail.

They are rail covers not coloured rails.

I think we are all agreed on what they are. They are covers that clip in place. However, it was more the case that all we can do with the current L85 model is colour the rails, and whether or not to include it. Given that soldiers in Afghan regularly just spray painted their weapons, I think I'll just leave it in.

I can look at it again the in the future. I need to do the desert sprayed weapons at some point anyway.

Probably a combination of saving your hands... The rails are "machined" and quite rough to hold.. even with gloves and added bonus of beign a Gucci way of adding some Camo....

Yeah bassicaly they're just rail covers to save cutting your hand the rails as they're quite sharp. Evrik if you did do a Tan L85 that would be brill.

It is something we are looking at for a future release. Not this round though. I'd like to do them, but it is just a matter of finding the spare time.

Signals beret and rails (Tan and Green). No more requests, please. No time left before release. I need to trim the front of the right ones back to that screw so that the attachments can sit there. In real life, the covers are fairly malleable silicon and can be cut and snipped out to fit the attachment, so I'll just have the front section removed as if it is prepped for attachment usage. The part where he has his hand will remain covered.
