Reminds me of an old mission I used to play with a previous group (Dom would remember this I think). We had an FOB which needed to be manned at all times, as if it were left empty the blufor side would lose. The Blufor team would be around 10-15 guys (equipped with thermals, binos, etc) while an enemy sniper and spotter would slink around and try to pick us off. Bluefors goal was to locate and kill the sniper team while always making sure the FOB was occupied. Opfor team would have to kill everyone inside the FOB.

A lot of situations where enemies would be walking on your head and not realising it.

One autumn evening, after the bell had tolled the midnight hour, a bunch of slightly crazy 3CB'er's and bewildered guests went on an adventure.

Dropped by chopper on the far side of Bystrica, this mismatched band of poorly equipped vagabonds, fought, joked and died as they swam, ran and crawled their way back to base with nothing but their wits and a pointy stick to keep them entertained.

With no compass, map, gps, magnified optics or to be frank, any clue whatsoever, they overcame everything that the enemy could throw at them, making it back to base with just their dignity intact. Sort of.
