Yep.

Discord is one of the solutions for this at the time being. If people have specific questions about topics like mods, recruitment, joint operations or technical support they can contact people there.

A chatbox would most likely be public and so it would be another place that has to be moderated. In this case I don't think that the amount of time you would spend with moderation would be in relation on the benefits of having it.
