Been a bit quiet on the Forum lately!
Yeah what Iraq sure needs is some F-16 Jets. That will solve problems.

I am not sure how heavy bombers like that would actually work on a modern battlefield. I do get the feeling that they are maybe a bit obsolete these days and could only be used for sinister stuff like bombing out a city.
Military in general seems to be very good at spending a lot of money on things that dont actually work.
Beside that yesterday a pretty hard storm hit the area where I live in germany. I do live in the "ruhr region" and I think we were hit the hardest yesterday. A lot of trees got knocked over, some streets where flooded with rain and public transport here is pretty much out of order now since most cables where hit and are damaged. The younger folks probably are slightly happy about it because of that there wont be any school here tomorrow. Also there was a open air festival yesterday here and a lot of folks hat to spend the night in a ermegency shelter. For about 30 minutes of the actual storm I was relaticely scared. I recently (2-3 months) live in a apartment that is right under the roof and it was very loud that time. I made a few pictures of the aftermath right outside my door.
We "secured" that area because parts of a tree where on a generator box. A guy got a chainsaw and cleared the box but we decided to secure it in case something with that box is not fine.

Crapy zoom is crappy. However that part of the tree went through the windshield, the inside of the car and came out at the bottom.

This is what came down right out my front foor and was probably one of the big BAMS I hard under the roof.

Thats how it looks from below.
