On Subject getting healthy

Guess the most important thing is that just start it and stick to it. There is always some excuse you can find not to get up and do stuff.

While I am not exactly skinny, I dont really have weight problems. However in the last years I developed a pretty bad back. In my younger days I was quiote active, while also probably ruining my back with heavy lifting and other things. Started to go swimming a bit once per week and it helps. However I do hate swimming because it is pretty boring.

There is no war to end all wars.

Sounds like you've got a goal in mind and you're doing well. Good luck mate, keep it up ;)

Fair play Cupcake, and to the rest of ye who are blessed with the enthusiasm for health and fitness.  I fill myself with all sorts of less than healthy foods and maintain my rather unhealthy-looking skinniness. I should probably go to the effort of making some change, before I end up hitting 30 and growing a ridiculous belly, which has already resulted in a mate of mine regularly being referenced as "a lower-case b" due to his body shape.

Rock on, you active, healthy weirdos!

I imagine you've got proper diagnosis/treatment of the knee pain Null, but if not and in the meantime, may be try ice packs (wrapped in a tea cloth), 15-20 minutes, twice a day. You can sit there playing games with the ice packs on too. :-)
