People who change their names on Steam to something stoopid.

Why do people do this ? I try to find them to ask them something and.... Just Fail

That's great - if I knew who half the people were !

it seems 2/3rds of people on my list think it's cool to just randomly change their identities.... 'cos I'll be able to guess right ?

Somewhere on their (browser only?) profile page there's a tiny thing which will give you a list of previous names... When I really can't figure out who somebody is, I go look at that and then set a nickname ;)

James, there is always a delete button. Use it wisely. I like to keep my friends list to active people that I really need on there otherwise you just end up with loads of random people you never speak to who change their names far too much.

If the person you set the nickname to changes their name again it'll reset, I purposely change my name these days to specifically annoy Niko.
Well to be honest I really don't care what you change your name to since you never change your avatar so. Once you start doing that aswell I will just delete you! ;)
