3 COMMANDO ASTRO-BRIGADE

From what I've seen the night sky is very accurate in A3. Next time I'm on a night op I'll try to find the Orion nebula or the Andromeda galaxy with binocs. I'll be 'over the moon' if they're there!

Now i know why i love this game and the people who play it.

Completely agree with you pal :)

I think a 3CB Astronomical Society would be amazing, Sign me up!
Just go to Apollo, he can explain you the whole star system of Arma 3. I remember his lessons back in the Arma 3 Alpha where he talked for like at least 30 minutes about the Arma 3 stars! :D

A bit OT, sorry...
A photo I took in '96 of a partial solar eclipse.
30 minute astronomy talks by arrangement, for a small fee, on night time Op's, enquire at: 'The Chateau, Lt Apollo's office, 3rd Floor' for availability.

That's a fantastic pic Apollo! I remember trying to view the total eclipse in 1999 but it was completely overcast where I was at the time.

I remember it well.
I came down to the north Cornish coast and sat on a cliff over-looking one of the bays.
Cloudy like you say, but as the eclipse occurred all the birds went silent and bizarrely, all along the miles of coast line camera flashes started blinking as people took pictures of the darkness.
Crazy thing to do, but it looked awesome.

Anyway, perhaps we should create a 3CB astronomy thread rather than go OT here. :-)
