Headsets

When I'm home I'll have a search for the details of mine. I have had it 3 years now and it is fine.

Not sure about the price in the UK but when my wireless 7.1 headset broke I got a Sennheiser PC320.

Price: 45€ (where I bought it)
Connection: Analog
Sound: Stereo

it is a solid headset with both good sound (games and music) a decent microphone for the price. If you slide the microphone to a upwards position it will be muted and the volume control is embedd on the left side of the headphone. It kind of looks cheap because it is mostly plastic but it is actually made well (like most stuff from sennheiser).

If you can stretch to it i'd recommend this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Speedlink-Medus ... B00H9DTFWU
The speedlink madusa 5.1 surround is actually a really good headset. be warned though there are two versions, this and the USB version, don't buy the USB version as it isn't proper surround, this one i've linked has the connectors for audio plus a usb connector (for power)
mic is brill on it too.

Made that very mistake several years ago, chucked them because they were rank rotten. Replaced them with a Sennheiser headset and haven't regretted it since.

@bluemaxx, They were rank? as in they went funny? mine have a sort of furry texture to the headset cushions, I just give them a brush every so often with a boot brush and they're free of dust and whatnot, generally they're left out on my desk, had em for 2 years now and I've never had an issue, I swear by em.

Rank as in s**t, s**t performance. The audio would cut out all the time (this is the USB version I'm talking about), eventually I just tossed them in a bag and forgot about them. I should have got a refund but I was young, stupid and profligate.
