Shoreham 2015

So i guess everyone saw the sad news from yesterday, unfortunately I was there.  Here are a few shots from the day before hand, I did not take any photos of the crash before you ask.







The vulcan flew past after the crash in salute to those that died, I have not heard a crowd so quite, all you could hear were camera and the engines.

I have quite a few more pics of spitfires as well, I went down to have a look at them after the crash we were kept on the airfield until 6pm then it took us 2hrs 30 to get off the airfield.

I'm getting quite annoyed with this airshow. When I was at Lancing (school with the big chapel on the hill just above Shoreham airport)  we had a hawker hurricane crash just outside the school premises (pilot was the only casualty). Now with this recent (and much more tragic!) crash the plane came down onto the motorway just a couple hundred yards short of what used to be the  Sussex Pad hotel but is now actually a temporary boarding house for the school! I really hope that they either discontinue the show or at least move it out over the water!

Yeah I did as we were driving In to the airfield through the north gate wonder how the main entrance could be at the end of the runway.
