On missions with air support, it is less of an issue as pilots can provide resupply / reinforcement during their CAS downtime. When we don't have the helicopters, but have a mortar team, or fire support group available, perhaps they should be driving a logistics truck / coyote as well. That way we can fall back to their position or they can drive the truck closer to the front. Alternatively, as Serjames suggests, we could include a dedicated Warrior crew or logistics team (if people expressed an interest).

I wish we would have a warrior that is better in terms of quality, we could actually use it for squad movement and support (not just fire support). The current warriors is a bit painful to play.

Just one of those things unfortunately :(. Although I agree, think we'd be hard pressed to find a handful of guys who would happily (and patiently) sit in/guarding a vehicle behind all the action for a 2 hour op.

Well very often the FSG/MSS is supposed to provide overwatch for troops that are about to move into positions which are ahead and so the FSG/MSS usually is the one that bounds first.

Can i use this oportunity to ask for 75rnd tracer belts in section supplies? (I know its not a right place to ask)


Currently my GPMG loadout consist of fist gympy and 6 belts and weights about 44kg, so that 1.7 kg helps me a lot. =)

The model is an old arma 2 model. We are looking for a better one. If you think you can do some 3d modelling, then sure, come talk to us as we are always on the lookout for a modeller or two. The loadouts are going to be reviewed and updated with the next set of equipment and weapon releases (currently being worked on), and the belts will probably change to 100 round belts for the gpmg, 200 round for boxes on vehicles like the Jackal, to allow them to be shared between units and vehicles (200 round box from the Jackal would become 2 x 100 round belts for the gpmg gunner and vice versa).

Also, Mefirst, I am not certain that is correct. You wouldn't have your fire support group bound into the enemy ahead of the front line. They would provide fire for the infantry advance, move up into the captured area when they could no longer actively provide support, then support from that new location as the infantry advanced again.
