Introduction - Alex Brandsen


Hi All,

I got introduced to Arma by Tim, and he's invited me to a couple of public ops (played as 'Alex'). Really enjoying it so far, so thought I'd introduce myself!

I'm 32, living in Leiden, The Netherlands, currently doing a PhD in Archaeology. 

I've been playing airsoft for about 6 years now, and recently founded a team with the aim of playing a bit more tactically (unlike most skirms where it's just every man for himself!). So that's why I wanted to try Arma, to practice for airsoft basically. But the rest of the team think it's too complicated, so no we're doing CQB training using Rainbow 6 Siege, lol

Outside of quarantine I'm normally quite busy, so won't be at many ops, but will join when I get the chance.

Nice to hear that you are putting the efford in to learn to play arma. The first time i played with you, you had like 7h total in the game and already had walking pace and stuff dialed. I was really impressed since this game is one of the most complicate games out there.

Thanks man, I guess I already knew most of the commands from airsoft, so was just a case of figuring out key combinations, haha
