Welcome to the forums Mike,

It sounds like you've found the right place with 3CB as your requirements match our style closely.
But the best way to find out is to join us on our public server, get to know us and see whether you enjoy the game play.

Currently we're mostly playing on our Arma3 server (filter "3CB") with people joining on and off all the time, but particularly evening times being busiest. Organised operations also occur some mid-weeks and at weekends where we do Coops or TvT in both Arma2 (with ACE) and 3.

Teamspeak is on voice.3commandobrigade.com, join the ACRE channel under Arma3 Public Server and say hi.
Have a look at our prerequisite Mods (forum posting), especially getting ACRE working so you can communicate with us on the radios.

Hi Mike, although this information isn't publicly available yet (per se), you can see our current numbers and structure here. However, keep in mind that we don't use this structure for every game we play (as that would feel far too static) but rather for competitive and cooperative events with other units.

We may sometimes do armoured warfare depending on the mission and it's objectives/setup, but with our current size (1 Platoon) we don't have an official Armoured unit.
