Hi!

My name is Ludvig aka magazta(ingame). I'm a 25yo game developer from sweden that just started to play on your public server.

I used to play a lot of arma II(wasteland) with a few friends, still do from time to time but not as often. So when i heard about this mod it really got me excited to learn how to play it. Got the basics down yesterday with how items/coms/squads etc works.

So my "veteran"friend, myself plus another friend(as new as me) made a small sniper squad since i always played as a sniper in arma II. Even tho we only played a few hours we managed to see a lot. We got heli dropped on a hill watching over bravo, until the enemy arrived really close to us and we got caught in the middle of it. A few moment after that we respawned, adjusted our gear a little(got some nice tips from a friendly fellow on which sniper/scope to chose)  and went back out with another heli, we just got out of the base before we got shot down and crashed in the water. The pilot died on impact and one of my friends drowned before he got to land. The remaining friend and myself got out of the water and started to walk up a hill to get to higher ground(since we didnt have a long range radio), but before we got there we got ambushed.

So even tho it didnt go so well for us, we still had a blast. We will be playing a lot more starting this weekend!
