I've recently joined 3CB.

A bit about myself.

I'm 33 from Liverpool, UK, ex RAF.

Played ARMA for over 3000 hours starting on A2 (it was the DayZ mod and FrankieOnPC that woo'd me)

I am a member of STG (smalltime gaming) which is a casual gaming community principally on Arma doing PvP.

Played mainly the survival mods, epoch, Breaking point and wasteland.
Was previously part of the Zeus Community where I would regularly be Squad or Mission commander but circumstance left me with a rig unable to play on the server. by the time I got a new rig sorted Zeus had faded a bit.
Tried other milsim groups and have struggled to find a happy balance between organisation and B/S waltism.

I like to play a mixture of roles, and never afraid to get stuck into the action. I'm a reasonable rotary wing pilot but not fantastic and always looking to improve. Hardly touched fixed wing on arma so would like to learn this aspect.

I also love using support weapons in the intended role. Who doesn't like sending down a barrage of mortar or arty onto the enemy.

I'd really like to play a role as an FAC/Special Gunfire Observer or in a TACP. These vital guys have to keep a cool head in the worst of situations where accurate info could be the difference between everyone getting out alive or being vaporised by your own ordnance.

I've a lot to learn using the modset 3CB are utilising so any help would be appreciated, particularly with the medical and comms.

I still think Fixed wing is the least developed of all the areas in Arma 3 - we're all secretly waiting and wishing on an RKSL official release of the Typhoon... whether it will ever happen... ? Fingers crossed.

Either way I think you'll enjoy it here, we used a Mortar (with Helicopter re-supply) to great effect on last nights mission.... Looking forward to seeing you in game

Btw, little secret: I met FrankieOnPC and his mate Jack in DayZ once. He even showed me a few cool glitches too

 The Typhoon on Arma 2 was awesome, that sound!!!

Have you tried it ported? 

That Port is not official, so we could never run it on our servers anyway... But I did try the original in A2 and thought it was very cool
