Hello from the edge of Salisbury Plain

Hi all,

The obligatory introduction post here. I'm hoping to join in on the public server from time to time, I doubt a full membership application will be on the cards due to real life. My Arma history goes right back to the release of the Operation Flashpoint demo in 2001, I was a member of VCB for a while around the time of ArmA 1 until said real life got in the way. I'm quite keen to play some co-op MP again using British kit.

Real life wise I'm a civilian aircraft armourer and way back when did a few years in the TA as a recce trooper.

Now if I can get that irritating "M107 scope" error linked to RHS USF  that appeared after 1.52 to go away and for Arma3 to actually run when I try to launch it with mods from PWS then I may be online soon'ish!

Hi wyvern !!! Don't worry about the 107 error... it's harmless.

Anyone on TS will help if you get stuck on mods or pw6.

It's a big old download, but worth it !

Also, if PWS is still giving you grief, pop a message on our technical help thread. Someone should get you sorted in short order .

If I can get on the PC tonight I'll see if it'll behave itself. All the mods appear to have downloaded and installed ok but when I launch the game it either gets as far as the Arma 3 loading screen or onto the main menu but in either case it freezes and I have to ctrl-alt-del out and kill the game. It took several hours and much faffing overall to get PWS to download correctly.

I'm sure it'll all come right eventually.

If you're stuck on the Arma 3 load screen (and your game hasn't totally locked up and not responding) - hit 'Esc' multiple times while you're on the loadscreen, till it shoots you through to the main menu.
