Can the profile switching be customised ?
It can yes, I have the DPI switch buttons changed to have all my comms on my mouse as well.

Yeah, just have to get the software from logitech and it's pretty straightforward after that

All buttons excluding the right and left click can be set to a Mouse function, Keystroke (including with modifiers ) or a multikey macro. The Switch profile button is in the middle behind the mouse wheel (can be rebound). The 5th button on the left is actually the "sniper" button which by default is bound to G-Shift.
