You could use it. You can use more or less any mod on the public server as long as it doesn't adversely affect other peoples game play.

However, in the 3CB repository is a mod called @AGM, which you MUST run, and this includes a weapon resting component which does the same thing as VTS. So there's no point in running VTS.

VTS Weapon resting is not needed since AGM has weapon resting and im my opinion it works pretty well.

Beside the standard mods I do run:

JSRS - Sound mod
Blastcore - Effects mod
lsd_nvg - Adjustable full Sight Night Vision Googles.

I try to stay as close to the public server collection as possible and refrain from using weapon or uniforms that other people probably dont have. It is a bit of a immersion killer, to see players running around with invisible guns or underpants because they use mods you dont have.
