To make the 3CB MTP units we used that template you found Gav; INDE_clothing_template.psd, coupled with Stalker_BI's vests and Mk7 helmets.

If you get into this texturing lark and want to work on something 'special', talk to Lifetap about the mod projects we have on the go, and how you might become involved. He can probably give you something to play with to test your skills, and that might eventually find it's way into a mod release for the group.
